In the following representation, the relation between a digital citizen and his rights and responsibilities are explained. As seen, there are some rights that some people have like those of having a house, feeling secure in his environment and the privilege of being educated too and learning the language. On the other hand, there some expectations like those of respecting other fellow citizens, obeying and protecting laws and mainly to work so that he can help his country by paying tax. There are a few others listed concerning the rights and duties a citizen is supposed to have. In the same way, there are some rights that a digital citizen is supposed to have like that of accessing different networks to obtain information or those of expressing himself freely on social media sites. Communication is also one very important right too. A digital citizen's duties are to prevent cyber crime, uphold laws -like ones of piracy or copyright material- and also use these networks wisely. Some others are also shown down below.

Charleen, I really liked your graphic organizer and the way you arranged your data in the picture. I have a question though. What can people do to use networks wisely, as you said in your paragraph?

Thank you for the comments Mike. I think - or rather that's what I think I'd do- that maybe instead of using it to insult people and expose them, we could use it for more important things like communication. Some others prefer to spread scandals, bully others, manipulate younger people - in the case of chatting with unknown perverse people- and many other things. We could use it as a way of getting information, communicating with others, and updating ourselves with what's new.

You have arranged your work in a very orderly manner, but I have a question. Do you think that online citizens can have more responsibilities than the ones you have stated?

Well yes I think so like making wise choices, purchasing safely etc. But I feel like those are the most important ones.
