Citizen-Citizenship Being a citizen implies rights and responsibilities, whether you are a citizen of the world, your country, your state, your community, or your family. The rights and responsibilities are different for each "community" you belong to, but no matter which community you belong to as a citizen, you have the right to fully participate in that group, and you have the responsibility to participate fully, to be informed about that group, to care for the other members of that group, and to care for the world in which the group lives.
Citizens are responsible individuals, who are aware of their respnosibilities and duties towards their community, that is to say the relationship within the members of community should be based on understanding and progressed mentality, that keeps citizenship tight,as well as they should respect by laws which aim to organize their life, but the authority at the same time must respect their free well and respond to their needs. Eventually, a good citienship is in which responsabilities are shared between its members and authority.

Angelika Buddhadasa Response
If the citizens do not have the same views and beliefs on their responsibilities and privileges, do you think that it will pose a problem to the country or will it allow them see the country in difference perspectives and to have several options?

Spiro,
Good job defining a citizen. I'm glad you made the connection of citizens being members of a group and applied that idea beyond a national level all the way down to the family unit. You gave general ideas of the rights of members of a community, like free participation, but gave no specific rights. Please tell me some of the specific "rights" that citizens should have along with specific responsibilities.

Thank you Miss, the specific "rights" that citizens should have I believe are freedom of speech, and the freedom to say what you want. When there is voice, everyone benefits in a democracy. The right to worship a religion, am Christian of course but I do respect other religions, I believe everyone should be treated fairly. The freedom to do what you want, within certain limits of course, andThe freedom to say what you want.

I'm very impressed by your essay but if you were given a chance to change or add any rights which ones would they be?

You gave a very interesting answer but I have a question. How do you think members of a community will be able to understand each other?
